Economies of scale

规模经济:大量生产时,固定成本可以分摊至数量较多的物品,使单位成本降低,生产效率提高,在生产时增加输入,所增加的输出比率大于增加输入的比率。例如输入是加倍时,输出超过加倍。以物流业为例,总公司管理许多地方营业处时,管理人员并不随营业处的增加而成正比增加,所以管理或财务活动具有规模经济效果。
