KION Group has partnered with NVIDIA and Accenture to showcase the “warehouse of the future” at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. The partnership focuses on improving warehouse operations with advanced AI, robotics, and digital twin technology to improve productivity and safety while meeting the changing demands of supply chains.

At the heart of the innovation is NVIDIA’s Omniverse and Mega, a platform for building large-scale digital twins. These virtual models allow operators to design efficient warehouse layouts, test configurations, and train robots without interrupting day-to-day operations.

“By integrating Omniverse and Mega into their solutions, KION and Accenture can dramatically accelerate the development of industrial AI and autonomy for the world’s distribution and logistics ecosystem,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA.

The digital twins simulate warehouse operations and train robots to adjust to changing conditions, like demand surges and inventory shifts. Integrated with KION’s warehouse management software, these virtual robots continuously test and refine tasks such as moving goods or optimizing worker placement.
